Aloha!

I know, I've been terrible for not updating anything on Bella Coventina but I'm back now with a new outfit post! Aloha, fellow readers! I am currently in Hawaii and so far it has been pretty amazing. Most of my time is spent by the beach; reading, relaxing and trying to gain back the colour that I had lost whilst in the UK!

Have a great day!

Stadtpark

Although I've been in Germany for the past few weeks, I've done a bad job of showcasing how beautiful this country is, so I thought I'd start to blog a bit more about the city I'm staying in (Nuremberg). Without further ado, the pictures above are of a recent stroll that I took in Stadtpark- & although I realize it doesn't really show you much about Germany, it's a start ;) I'll showcase more of the city in the upcoming days!

P.S. recognize the ring from one of my earlier posts? ;)

My travel essentials

Part of the fun of travelling for me is the preparation. I am one of those people that love to pack, and wherever I go I have to meticulously plan what to bring. So naturally with my trip coming up to Hawaii in a week, I've already started to plan what to bring along. Here are some of my key items that I thought I'd share with you all!

1) MCM Stark bag or the Bieber bag as I like to call it, due to a certain Canadian pop-star owning the same one ;)
2) Victoria's Secret bikini
3) Of course, my phone in a touristy Harrods cover
4) Topshop fedora
5) Flea market scarf
6) Summer reading -Currently Tolstoy's War & Peace
7) Longchamp coin bag -for those pesky foreign currency coins that inevitably seem to pile up
8) A chunky (Topshop) sweater- for the plane ride as it gets quite chilly up there and for those unexpected breezy days
9) Michael Kors Jet Set Saffiano Continental wallet -ideal for travel
10) Kodak funsaver camera -for reliving those childhood memories, plus they actually deliver great photos!

Olympia Le-Tan

I am loving these novelty Olympia Le-Tan clutches, the idea of celebrating literary greats and iconic pop culture as fashion is genius. Definitely going down on my wish list!

Double Triangle

I've been feeling a tad bit homesick these days, so I thought I'd write my next entry about Shanghai. One of the most precious stores that I discovered before leaving to London was Double Triangle. I accidentally stumbled upon it while trying to locate a vintage shop, and once I saw the Union Jack painted outside the store I just had to go inside. Located in the heart of French Concession, this boutique is filled with delicate jewellery, vintage pieces and designer items positioned in the most creative, inspiring way. I usually don't wear rings but that day I ended up purchasing a stunning gold-coated ring of a hummingbird resting on a flower that came with beautiful packaging.

Sketch

One of my favourite places to go to in London for wine and dine would be none other than Sketch.
As it was my dear friend's birthday, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to not only blog about it, but also to showcase my vamp heels that I had recently received ;). Upon entering, each room is different to the other and is conceived with intricate details and themes, very Alice in Wonderland-esque! My personal favourite would be the egg pod bathroom; and while I am normally inclined against taking pictures in the bathroom, how could you resist with a bathroom like this! The idea was envisioned by Mourad Mazouz and French chef Pierre Gagnaire and has over time become a place in London you must visit before leaving!

Truly unique, and I couldn't recommend it enough!
